Dear Donors and friends,

Thank you for your generous donation of books for the Gawad Kalinga Community Library located in Towerville, Bulacan.

We’re happy to report your books have a new home and that they were happily received by the volunteer teachers/librarians there. The GK Community Library is a product of the hard work of volunteers who hope to provide a reading and learning space for the children and parents of the community.

Towerville is located in Bgy. Minuyan, Bulacan and is home to many former squatters who were relocated there by the government from various areas such as Navotas, Nagtahan, North Triangle, and other government properties.

Please come and visit the library when you have the time. We hope to formally open it to the students of the nearby high school on June 14. Of course you are welcome to attend the opening.
